One Story...

LupusAdvocacy.org is the brainchild and hard work of Angela Madaras, a lupus survivor and committed advocate for lupus awareness and research. 

Angela was diagnosed with SLE with kidney involvement in 1985. Her desire to help promote lupus literacy is inspired not only by her own health challenges, but also by the loss of her mother due to lupus complications.

LupusAdvocacy.org's mission is to support patients, educate the public, connect organizations and individuals to each other and to the growing wealth of information available elsewhere online, and ultimately to raise funds for lupus research and support.

This web site is also a showcase and celebration of the overwhelming success we've enjoyed while doing this important work.
